Who is the Most Annoying Celebrity Alive?

Parade Magazine has published a poll, the results of which prove a point even more obvious than Casey Anthony's guilt:

Kim Kardashian is the world's most annoying celebrity.

Another Red Carpet Appearance

The former sex tape star and current red carpet poser took home 29 percent of the vote, with the publication writing of Kardashian: "Famous for being famous, Kim, in particular, has been inescapable, with her recent wedding and honeymoon reported just about everywhere."

Kim narrowly edged out Charlie Sheen (27 percent) in the voting, with Snooki finishing in third at 21 percent.

We've added a couple contenders below and will now pose the same question to readers: Who is the world's most annoying celebrity?

"Toddlers and Tiaras" with Ashley Tisdale: Watch Now!

Showing off her comical side in a just-released video, Ashley Tisdale is featured in a new sketch produced by the always-entertaining crew at Funny or Die.

The piece is titled "Toddlers and Tiaras: Where Are They Now?," with Miss Tisdale playing a former child beauty pageant contestant named Makenzie while Leah Remini takes on the role of her mother.

In the ensuing hilarity, the clip goes on to catch up with Makenzie 22 years after her pageant days - finding out that she hasn't changed a bit.

Announcing the Funny or Die release earlier this week, Miss Tisdale told, ?When I hit 5 Million on Twitter, I told you all that I was going to do something really special for you. I?ve been thinking about it for a while, I know it?s late, I?m so sorry ? it?s not this video. But, one of the things I thought about was that I love making people laugh, I love doing comedy. I?m a comedic at heart.?

The 26-year-old added, ?I thought it would be really great if I could make my Twitter followers laugh, so I did a Funny or Die skit. I thought it was funny, I hope you think it?s funny."

"The Ides of March" Premieres in Los Angeles

Inching closer to its big theatrical debut, the stars of "The Ides of March" stepped out for their film's premiere in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday night (September 27).

Looking his usual dapper self, leading man George Clooney opted for a sleek black suit as he was joined at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater by his A-list co-stars Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei and Ryan Gosling.

Also on hand to support the upcoming picture's west coast debut screening was George's latest lady Stacey Keibler, as well as "127 Hours" actress Kate Mara.

While recently talking about his latest project, Clooney offered up his thoughts of why the film has earned such widespread appeal, telling press, "Everywhere it's played, they think it's got something to do with their politics."

He added, "When I had to pitch this movie, I would say, 'OK, here's why it's universal and not just an American film about delegate counts.' I pitched the idea of a morality tale."

Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial Begins

Jury sees previously unreleased image of Jackson on gurney during opening arguments.

More than two years after Michael Jackson's death, the manslaughter trial of his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, opened in a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday (September 27).

In addition to laying out story lines the prosecution and defense teams will follow, the trial quickly provided a shocking opening chapter when prosecutor David Walgren kicked off the proceedings by showing a previously unseen, graphic image of the 50-year-old pop icon's body on a hospital gurney following his death.

According to TMZ, Walgren meticulously set out the people's case against Murray, a cardiologist who was hired by Jackson to be his personal physician in the lead-up to the "Thriller" singer's planned 50-show This Is It comeback attempt.

Walgren told the just-seated jury that Jackson put "misplaced trust" in Murray's medical skills and that the prosecution planned to show that Murray repeatedly acted with gross negligence and incompetence. He pinned the cause of death as an overdose of the powerful surgical anesthetic propofol, which he claimed was administered by Murray, who had made arrangements with a pharmacy to purchase very large quantities of the drug that chronic insomniac Jackson allegedly used to get to sleep.

In addition, Walgren said more than a month before Jackson's death, the doctor made a voice recording on his iPhone in which Jackson, heavily slurring his words, is clearly under the influence of "unknown agents," which he said proved Murray knew the star's state and what the drugs were doing to his client.

Jackson was described as cold, shivering and rambling in the weeks before his death, but Walgren said the doctor continued to give him propofol and, when Jackson was clearly struggling in his final moments, he said Murray instructed a bodyguard to hide evidence in a blue bag, including bottles of propofol. He also noted that Murray never told paramedics or doctors at UCLA hospital that he'd given Jackson propofol.

Murray, who was working on a $150,000 a month retainer, faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.

Defense attorney Ed Chernoff countered by telling the jury that Jackson caused his own death by swallowing eight 2mg pills of the anti-anxiety drug Lorazepam, as well as injecting himself with a dose of propofol that instantly killed him. He said Jackson's struggles with prescription-drug abuse were so acute that no amount of determination or talent — and not even the biggest tour payday of his life — could help him mount the This Is It tour without some help.

"He died rapidly, so instantly he didn't even have time to close his eyes," Chernoff said of Jackson's quick demise from the alleged combination of tranquilizers and propofol taken without Murray's knowledge.

Chernoff also claimed that Jackson went "doctor shopping," promised to put some of Murray's former patients on the stand to show his skills and compassion as a physician (which caused Murray to tear up at one point) and said his client was not aware of how acute Jackson's issues were when he took the gig. In fact, Chernoff said, Jackson didn't have insomnia, but suffered from an "absolute, total and thorough inability to sleep."

After hiring him, Jackson allegedly told Murray he would use propofol with or without him, and in the two months that he administered the drug to the singer, Chernoff said Murray observed Jackson sleeping, waking up and living his life, which suggested to the cardiologist that it was not negligent to administer the drug to his patient.

The defense attorney also claimed Murray was trying to wean Jackson off the dangerous drug, a tactic that seemed to be working in the nights before June 25. But after an emergency meeting June 20, during which the show's promoter threatened to pull the plug on the tour if Jackson did not get his health in order, Jackson begged Murray to continue giving him the anesthetic so he could get much-needed sleep.

As he has claimed all along, Chernoff said Murray gave Jackson a small dose of propofol just before the pop star died, but not enough to kill him, suggesting that Jackson — who knew exactly how to administer the drug — shot himself up with the fatal dose. Murray pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

Testimony in the proceedings — which are being televised and webcast — was expected to begin later in the day with Jackson's choreographer and friend, Kenny Ortega. Among those attending the first day of the trial were Jackson's father and mother, Joseph and Katherine Jackson, as well as siblings Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Tito and LaToya.

Leisha Hailey Kicked Off Southwest Flight for Kissing Girlfriend

Leisha Hailey Kicked Off Southwest Flight for Kissing Girlfriend

Lesbian actress and musician Leisha Hailey is accusing Southwest Airlines of "homophobic" behavior. The L Word star says the she was booted off a flight because she was kissing her girlfriend, Camila Grey.

"I have been discriminated against by @SouthwestAir. Flt. attendant said that it was a "family" airline and kissing was not ok," the actress shared on Twitter Monday afternoon.

According to her Twitter stream, the 40-year-old actress was in El Paso, Tex., visiting the family of her girlfriend, 32-year-old Grey (who is not only her romantic partner, but her fellow band member in the indie group Uh Huh Her).

"We were escorted off the plane for getting upset about the issue. @SouthwestAir endorses homophobic employees. No one made her accountable," Hailey twittered.

For their part, Southwest claims the couple was asked to tone down their PDA after other passengers complained.

"Initial reports indicate that we received several passenger complaints characterizing the behavior as excessive. Our crew, responsible for the comfort of all Customers on board, approached the passengers based solely on behavior and not gender," the airline said in a statement.

Regardless, Hailey is calling for a boycott: "Did I mention to @SouthwestAir that I have a lot of their actions recorded on audio and video? RT #boycottSouthwest #discrimination," she wrote her fans.

Of course, this isn't the first time the airline has found themselves in a celebrity controversy. Last year, director Kevin Smith was allegedly kicked off a Southwest flight for being overweight. So, is all publicity really good publicity?

Anne Hathaway's Full Catwoman Costume Revealed

Latest photo of actress in 'Dark Knight Rises' gear shows lots of leather, dangerously high heels and a curious set of ears.
By Eric Ditzian

Anne Hathaway on the set of "Dark Knight Rises"
Photo: PhamousFotos/ Splash News

Where are Catwoman's ears? And what's up with her eyewear, perhaps more reminiscent of BluBlockers than something a Gotham City villain would rock?

Those were among our first questions in August when we checked out the first official photo of Anne Hathaway in character. Newly published paparazzi pics from the Los Angeles set of "The Dark Knight Rises," however, might deliver answers to both of those geeky queries. The new shots appear to suggest Catwoman's glasses flip up to create ear-like points above her head. Function and form!

For a full analysis of the new Catwoman costume, click here.

In a sense, then (and if this hypothesis is correct), Hathaway's full costume was on display back in August, just not in a recognizable or complete form. The glasses-into-ears theory appears to be a more logical one than another bit of superhero speculation out there: that Catwoman's mask, based on those hollow-looking ears and some similar design lines, is actually Batman's mask, artfully mangled. While Hathaway's character clearly does a bit of borrowing (or, more likely, stealing) from Bruce Wayne, as in the photo where she rides his Batpod, we're not sold on the similarity between each mask.

The rest of the costume, as revealed in the new photos, is largely what we've already seen: lots of tight leather and a pair of dangerously high-heel boots; we can understand why Hathaway has previously cracked that she is living on kale and dust, just so she can slip into the ensemble. According to Hathaway, the collective reaction to the first look at her Catwoman costume — including in some corners within the MTV Newsroom — was a resounding, "Meh." But the actress also promised us that we've only seen "about a tenth of what that suit can do."

Perhaps her transforming ears — if that's what they really are — represent a few more percentage points. With the rapid pace of photos coming from the "Dark Knight" set, we'll undoubtedly get even more soon.

Check out everything we've got on "The Dark Knight Rises."

Leisha Hailey Fires Back at Southwest, Denies Excessive Touching

Leisha Hailey is not finished with Southwest Airlines.

A day after the former L Word star and her girlfriend got booted from a flight - for "excessive" PDA that drew complaints from fellow passengers, according to a company statement - the actress has fired back.

Leisha Hailey on The L Word

She and her partner have released a joint statement that reads:

"In no way were our actions on Southwest Airlines excessive, inappropriate or vulgar. We want to make it clear we were not making out or creating any kind of spectacle of ourselves, it was one, modest kiss.

"We take full responsibility for getting verbally upset with the flight attendant after being told it was a 'family airline.'

"We find it very disturbing that the same airline who lauds itself as being LGBT friendly has twisted an upsetting incident that happened into our behavior being 'too excessive.'"

Hailey and the other woman will be filing a formal complaint with the airline.

Jennifer Lopez Dances the Night Away in Las Vegas

Jennifer Lopez may be the mom of young twins, but she still knows how to party like a single girl. The sexy singer took her own song's advice to "dance the night" away in Las Vegas' exclusive Pure nightclub over the weekend.

After a sizzling performance -- clad in a barely-there fringe stage outfit  --  at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Lopez showed up at the club at 2 a.m. Sunday morning with a sizable entourage, People reports. Wearing a curve-hugging cream and pink mini-dress, La Lopez, 42, arrived with more than a dozen people in her crew, including her backup dancers.

J.Lo took residence in the club's elevated VIP area while the deejay played several of her tracks and showed her music videos on large screens on both ends of the club.  After an hour of sipping Dom Perignon Rose and mingling with her entourage, a friend gave her a special treat.

"One of her dancers took his shirt and gave her a lap dance," a source tells People. "She was laughing and loving it."

The American Idol judge, who seems to be recovering from her split with husband Marc Anthony, even went on the general dance floor when DJ Irie played her hit single "On the Floor." She sang and danced along with a group of club-going fans who were all excited to see J.Lo up close.

Patti Stanger Apologizes For Anti-Gay Comments, Still Sucks

Even Patti Stanger realizes she went too far this time.

On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen Monday night, the horrible Millionaire Matchmaker made some anti-Semitic and anti-gay remarks while offering BRILLIANT "advice" to viewers who called in with questions.

Short story: Jewish men are liars and gay men are sluts.

Patti Stanger Image

Although Stanger is known for being blunt and forward on TV, which is why some people tune in (presumably ... it sure can't be for dating advice, as there are never successful couplings depicted on the show), this was too much.

Hence, she apologized on Twitter:

"Attn male Gays: I support you & my comment on WWHL was to a LA guy who can't find commitment. So sorry. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Love you all. X0"

Stanger and Bravo also wrote a statement to GLAAD: "I am so sorry. I did not mean to offend anyone with my comments on Watch What Happens Live."

The network followed with "Bravo regrets the comments expressed by Patti Stanger on Watch What Happens Live. Her comments are not representative of the network's beliefs and opinions. We apologize for the offense it caused."

Next up should be an apology for her horrible show.

Britney Spears Under Fire For Carrying Gun In 'Criminal' Video

Clip, filmed in London, has drawn the ire of British politicians.
By James Montgomery

Britney Spears is packing heat in her new "Criminal" video, and that's landed her in hot water with U.K. politicians.

Earlier this month, Spears filmed scenes for the video in and around London, including one in which she flees a building in the borough of Hackney while clutching a pistol. And for a community still scarred from the August riots that spread across the nation, that crossed a line.

Britney Spears responds to the "Criminal" video controversy.

"I think she should apologize and make a sizeable donation to a Hackney charity that deals with young people, in compensation for the rudeness and damage that she's done to our community," borough Councilor Ian Rathbone told the ITV news program "London Tonight."

"It is only a music video, but it's images like this, with pop stars glamorizing gangs, which means that some young people ... get drawn in," Hackney's Member of Parliament, Diane Abbott, added. "Britney should really know better."

Even more concerning was the fact that, according to the Hackney Council, which okayed the video shoot, there was no mention of a gun being used in the "Criminal" production. If there had been, the Council says, Spears and co. most certainly would not have been allowed to film in the borough's recently restored Stoke Newington Town Hall.

"In this case we did not agree that a replica gun could be used at Stoke Newington Town Hall and we are disappointed," the Council said in a statement to "London Tonight." "We will be raising this matter with the production company."

Spears announced that "Criminal" would be her next single backstage at the Video Music Awards, and she has been promoting it with the release of artwork and a new remix album over the past few weeks.

A spokesperson for the singer could not be reached for comment on the "Criminal" controversy by press time.

THEY'RE BACK: Sex Toys, Babies & Cheating DOMINATE "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Season 4

Season 4 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is set the hit on November 6 and the ladies have taken the drama to level 10 with a season that explores sex toys, infidelity, cheating spouses and a few good-drink tosses at a dead-beat dad.  Get the deets and watch the preview inside.....

Time to set your DVRs because the cat-fighting divas of "RHOA" return to TV on Sunday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

And if you think "BBW" brought the drama last season, wait until you check out the preview for "RHOA" season 4.

Unlike the NY franchise, the cast of "RHOA" remains the same, but new business prospects, frenemies (hey Marlo Hampton!) and the return of dead beat dads (side-eye at Sheree throwing a drink at ex-husband Bob Whitfield) are sure to keep viewers tuned in.

According to a press release from Bravo, this season will focus on all this ish: Kandi, Phaedra and Cynthia starting new businesses (sex toys, funeral homes and a modeling school), NeNe's failing marriage to Greg (and perhaps a new boyfriend) and Kim beginning a new life with Kroy and their baby (before her own show kicks off).

And if the preview is any indication, NeNe fights with both Marlo AND Sheree this season.  And we know Tami/Meeka/Evelyn have nothing on NeNe and Sheree!

Here's what's happening with the cast:

·        NeNe Leakes –  This season, NeNe and Gregg have officially separated. Though Gregg no longer lives with NeNe and the boys, they have a complex relationship. NeNe struggles with her decision on whether or not to sign the divorce papers and truly move on from their 15-year relationship. Since her experience on Celebrity Apprentice, NeNe has realized she has a knack for business and uses one of her Trump connections to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor.

·         Kim Zolciak –As her psychic predicted, Kim’s life has changed dramatically for the better. Kroy adores Kim, her daughters and is a loving father to baby KJ. Though they have established a new life together, Kroy has to return to the NFL, leaving Kim to get their new house in order and tend to three children. To add to her juggling act, Kim is pursuing a country music career without the help of Kandi.

·         Sheree Whitfield –Sheree has recently moved out of her home and is building a fabulous new house for her family in the same upscale neighborhood. Frustrated with her ex-husband for not paying the 4 years of child support he owes, Sheree takes action against him with legal help from her friend and fellow Housewife, lawyer Phaedra Parks.

·         Kandi Burruss – After a year spent recording and touring to support her solo album, Kandi has shifted her focus to a new endeavor: an intimate luxury line. She's also switching gears with music and focusing on writing country hits for a popular artist.. While she has yet to find Mr. Right, Kandi is spending more time than ever with Mama Joyce. Ever the mediator, she remains close with the other Housewives.

·         Phaedra Parks – With baby Ayden growing up so quickly, Phaedra is realizing her parenting style is different than expected. Once a firm believer in “spanking” a child, she has become a doting mom who tends to annoy Apollo by babying their son. Phaedra continues to work hard at the law firm and has begun her next business venture: a family-run funeral home. Her only hurdle before becoming a certified mortician: convincing Apollo of the benefits of this new undertaking.

·         Cynthia Bailey – At 44 years old, Cynthia is still a working model and is using her decades of experience to help the next generation. By opening The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, Cynthia seeks to teach Atlanta’s most promising girls about the industry. Her marriage to Peter is barely one-year along, but the shadow of the marriage-certificate wedding debacle still hangs over the Bailey-Thomas household. Cynthia’s sister Malorie and Peter still haven’t addressed her attempted wedding sabotage and Cynthia finds herself in an uncomfortable position between her husband and her sister.

Looks like the ladies will have no problem keeping up with the drama "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" are bringing.

Patti Stanger Implies All Gay Men Are Sluts, Baffles Andy Cohen

To think, we reported on how much Patti Stanger sucks earlier this morning before we even saw this interview clip, which is offensive on multiple levels:

  1. For her absurd, rampantly homophobic comments
  2. For the fact that this idiot is even quasi-famous

Appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night, she told a gay caller that monogamy is mostly for the straights. Seriously:

Patti Stanger Homophobic Remarks

It got WORSE from there, leaving Cohen practically speechless.

Stanger told another gay male caller that she mistook him for being straight, and that this is a compliment, because, hey, "nobody wants a queen." Cringe.

She then proceeded to give advice on blow jobs and imply that Cohen himself is not in a relationship with now because he is gay and also has a good career.

Cue the press release from GLAAD in 5 ... 4 ... 3 ...

VMAs Drive Record-Breaking 10 Million Tweets

Beyoncé's pregnancy and Lady Gaga's over-the-top fashion just a few of the Twitter Trends.
By Eric Ditzian

Beyoncé set the record for the most mentions on Twitter per second with 8,868

Lady Gaga tweeted about her Little Monsters. Kim Kardashian tweeted about Beyoncé's baby-bump secret. Those Twitter updates and millions more made the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards the most tweeted-about awards show ever.

In total, the VMA Pre-Show and main show drove 10 million tweets, according to newly released numbers for the social-networking site.

That awards-show record was just one that the VMAs shattered. Beyoncé set the record for the most mentions on Twitter per second with 8,868, helping make the show the most-watched broadcast in MTV history, pulling in 12.4 million viewers. Pre-show viewership also set a record, and MTV Digital saw its highest VMA day ever on Sunday with show content attracting 2 million unique visitors, an increase of 33 percent year over year.

Twitter helped make it all happen. As the black-carpet pre-show kicked off inside the JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles, the trend #whatwillgagawear lit up the social-networking site and became one of the longest running of the night. During the show itself, over half of the worldwide Twitter Trends were connected to the VMAs — and at times they took over eight or nine of the top 10 trends. The trends also included shout-outs to Justin Bieber and Joe Jonas, and the two simple statements, #DemiYouAreBeautiful and BEYONCE IS PREGNANT.

All that attention had an added benefit for the pregnant pop star: Her song "Love on Top" leapt into the iTunes top five after she performed it onstage at the Nokia and revealed her baby bump to the world.

The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards have wrapped, but the real action is just getting started! Stick with MTV News for winners, fashion pics, video and behind-the-scenes stories about everything that went down. Visit for the latest.

Spencer Pratt: Still Broke! Still Unemployed!

Earlier this summer, we told you how despite banking millions during their heyday as professional, annoying celebrities, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are broke.

Well, according to Us Weekly, this is still the case!

Pratt, in particular, is so unpopular that his own agent won't even answer his calls! That's pretty bad, although you need to get a client work in order to get commission.

That's not happening, so just let it go to voicemail, are we wrong?

The Beard

Unemployed mountain man Spencer Pratt is very much at sea.

Speaking of which, Spencer owes his former agency "hundreds of thousands of dollars in commissions" from the coin he banked back when the gettin' was good.

That money, of course, is long gone, having been blown on Heidi's "music" career, up there with Enron and Worldcom among the worst investments of all time.

The whole spiritual/healing crystal thing never really panned out either.

A source adds that Pratt, despite being persona non grata in L.A., calls his agent up to 30 times a day. "They just laugh or pick up and hang up," the source said.

'Lion King' 3-D Begins New Circle Of Life At Box Office

Steven Soderbergh's 'Contagion' follows at #2, with Ryan Gosling vehicle 'Drive' at #3.
By Ryan J. Downey

What's old was new again as Disney's iconic "The Lion King" became the #1 movie at the box office over the weekend, taking in an estimated $29.3 million with a souped-up 3-D redo of the 1994 original.

"Drive," one of the year's best-reviewed films, was #3 in its weekend debut, while the poorly reviewed remake of "Straw Dogs" and Sarah Jessica Parker's even-worse-reviewed "I Don't Know How She Does It" both flopped in their debuts. Last week's #1 movie, "Contagion," dropped to #2 this week.

"The Lion King" 3-D re-release earned more than the other three new releases combined. The film's original-run, IMAX re-release (back in 2002) and the past weekend's numbers pushed "The Lion King" from #25 to #17 on the all-time domestic box-office chart, according to Box Office Mojo. The animated tale, which has also quite successfully been adapted for Broadway, has made $357.8 million in the United States to date.

Steven Soderbergh's ensemble procedural drama "Contagion" made $14.5 million in its second weekend of release, for a total of $44.2 million. "Drive" took in $11 million, but while the film has set Twitter abuzz in critic circles, it remains to be seen how it will continue to play with a broader audience. "This is one of Ryan Gosling's best performances," Aisle Seat reported.

"The Help" came in at #4 at the box office, adding $6.4 million for a total of $147.3 million. The remake of director Sam Peckinpah's 1971 thriller "Straw Dogs," featuring "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgård, mustered just $5 million in its debut. "I Don't Know How She Does It" fared even worse with just $4.5 million, which was less than the opening numbers of Parker's last two flops.

Meanwhile, critical darling "Warrior" dropped 47 percent, all the way down to #8, in its second weekend of release with just $2.8 million for a $9.9 million total. "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star," which is the exact opposite of a critical darling (with a perfect "zero" score on film review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes), made a paltry $2.3 million in 10 days after a $380,000 second weekend.

Next weekend's new releases include Taylor Lautner's "Abduction," Brad Pitt's "Moneyball," action ensemble (Statham! Owen! DeNiro!) "Killer Elite" and filmmaker Kevin Smith's "Red State."

Check out everything we've got on "The Lion King" and "Drive."

Demi Lovato's latest release, Unbroken, is garnering lots of attention thanks to its catchy tracks and empowering message. Beyond co-signs from Lovatics and a number of celebrities, including Ashley Greene, Sean Kingston and even Joe Jonas, it's also received great reviews from the hardest people to please: the critics.

But Lovato isn't paying attention to any of it. She told MTV News she's more focused on the here and now and the excitement of having a whole new crop of music for everyone to hear. "I haven't actually looked at any of the critics or reviews," she said. "So, if they're good, awesome; if they're bad, whatever."

According to reports, despite some stiff competition on the charts from the likes of Tony Bennett and Lady Antebellum, Lovato is still expected to sell pretty big. reports that she'll likely sell about 110,000 copies of her album, besting her previous chart-topping release, 2009's Here We Go Again, which sold slightly less with 108,000.

"I'm feeling really excited," Lovato said. "The album just came out, so we're really, really excited. And it seems to be doing well, so I'm really, really happy."

Now that the album is getting some love and she's readying the release of her next single, "Who's That Boy," it seems like a good time to start remixing tracks. "I'd love to hear the feedback on who would want to remix," she said. "We actually have a remix on the album by Wizz Dumb, and he remixed 'Skyscraper,' and it sounds really awesome. You can check that out: It's on the album."

If anyone would jump on the album, Lil Wayne might be just the right guy. Lovato has certainly made his track "How to Love" all her own. Of a potential collaboration, she said, "That would be amazing. I've never met him in my life, so if I got to be onstage with him, I would just die."

Jesse James and Kat Von D: It's Over! Again!

Kat Von D and Jesse James broke up. Again.

The troubled, tattooed couple has called it quits once again, calling off their engagement for the second time this year, Von D revealed on Facebook.

"I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the "back and forth" if it's caused any confusion)," said the star of LA Ink, which TLC broke up with recently.

The duo called off their engagement in July, for reasons still not entirely clear, only to be back on again and planning a wedding a mere month later.

Now it's off again. As for why they separated, Von D tells People: "It just became clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life."

"My friend put it best ... I am deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."

So basically ... Jesse fell short of providing that?

Sort of a cryptic comment, but that's all we've got.

With no wedding in the future, Kat also shared she won't be packing up and heading to James' home base: "I am not in any way moving to Texas."

"My tattoo shop is not closing, and is open for business... same goes for my art gallery, Wonderland - next door to High Voltage Tattoo."

"I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love."

No word if she plans to remove her tattoo of his face:

Brad Pitt Explains Making 'Moneyball' Without Steven Soderbergh

Pitt tells MTV News it was studio's call to tap new director Bennett Miller, who proved to be right man for the sports flick.

Steven Soderbergh had nothing if not grand ambitions for his take on "Moneyball."

"I hope it sets a new standard," he told MTV News in the spring of 2009. "Hopefully, anybody who makes a sports movie from now on is going to have to grapple with this."

Soderbergh's plan for the adaptation of Michael Lewis' best-selling book about the 2002 Oakland A's included re-creating the bowels of Oakland Coliseum and casting ballplayers and coaches to play their big-screen counterparts. The filmmaker also proposed, most ambitiously (and probably a bit bizarrely), the use of an Oracle-like persona, based on the legendary statistician Bill James, presented as an animated character and commissioned with narrating the action.

Grand stuff, no doubt, but also perhaps not the stuff that would lead anyone beyond sports nuts and movie nerds to buy tickets to check it out. And so Sony pulled the plug on the production days before filming was to begin. "Moneyball" appeared to be dead. But at the suggestion of Catherine Keener, Sony tapped Bennett Miller, who had worked with Keener on "Capote," to helm the picture.

Years later, with the movie set to hit theaters on Friday, star Brad Pitt has no doubt Miller was the perfect guy for the job. "I think it is the right way to do 'Moneyball.' Soderbergh was really heading in the same direction, in a sense," Pitt told MTV News.

Sort of. Miller's version certainly doesn't have an animated Bill James. We have a feeling Pitt would have been keen to move forward with Soderbergh, with whom he's worked on the "Ocean's Eleven" films. But it wasn't Pitt's call, and he's no doubt correct that Miller delivered a top-notch sports flick.

"That was a studio call," Pitt said of pushing Soderbergh out. "And, man, we want to get the thing going! We didn't have a choice but to remount it in some way. ... [We] sat down with Bennett and we were just talking the same language. Just love the '70s films. What you'll see about Bennett is he's a very, very bright and thoughtful man and deals with Socratic thought and was a documentarian and all these things that led nicely to the telling of these stories."

Robert Pattinson Is In 'Every Second' Of 'Cosmopolis'

'It's a very, very tricky part, and he was really at home with it,' co-star Paul Giamatti tells MTV News.

We've got a load of questions about Robert Pattinson's "Cosmopolis," chief among them how director David Cronenberg intends to adapt a novel, penned by postmodern wizard Don DeLillo, which takes place in one day, largely within one traffic-stalled limousine.

It all makes sense on the page, with so much of the action in this novel of ideas taking place in the head of Eric Packer, a young and rich asset manager who every so often hops out of his ride to sleep with women and get into violent confrontations with menacing strangers. But how all this plays out — and how strictly Cronenberg, who also penned the script, sticks to the source material — remains to be seen.

If we can read into co-star Paul Giamatti's recent comments to MTV News, it seems the film and book will retain one key similarity: It's all about Packer.

"He's in every second of this movie," Giamatti said of Pattinson while promoting "The Ides of March" at the Toronto International Film Festival. "The whole thing is him."

That's a lot of pressure for a young actor who has shined in the "Twilight" films and taken on romantic dramas like "Remember Me" and "Water for Elephants," yet has never worked with such dark, cerebral material — and a director so comfortable with such things. Nonetheless, Giamatti says Pattinson nailed the role.

"He seemed absolutely great. It's a very, very tricky part, and he was really at home with it," he told us. "I was really impressed."

The novel intercuts, every so often, the psychotic musings of Benno Levin, the character played by Giamatti. "I get to stalk him," the actor told us at Sundance back in January.

That's not all he does. We'll leave it at that, lest we dive into spoiler territory. But the story gets dark. Really dark. And that's right up Cronenberg's alley, a director who made his name in the horror genre and has lately taken on brashly violent material like "Eastern Promises." Cronenberg the man, however, is very different than Cronenberg the filmmaker, Giamatti assured us.

"[He's an] incredibly sane man, when you think about the movies he makes," he said. "He's an incredibly grounded and sweet, sane guy. It was pure pleasure. I had a great time doing it. I'm a big fan of his, so that was a very exciting thing."
