Kourtney Kardashian is thinking about having a second baby -- but not about getting married. Now that her little sister Kim Kardashian is getting married, the pressure is on for Kourtney, 32, to marry Scott Disick, the father of her 18-month-old son Mason. So what's she waiting for? That's what Kourtney's mother Kris Jenner wants to know in Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Watch the clip below!
Did you catch Kourtney's reason for not wanting to get married? Here's what she says when Kris gently puts on the pressure: "This is my life. I don't need a piece of paper to make it a family unit. I don't want to get married right now. I'm fine."
Then she turns to the camera and says, "I definitely don't want to get married just for the sake of getting married."
Okay, Kourtney doesn't want to get married just because other people want her to get married. Fair enough. But she still hasn't answered the question that Kris and Kim are scratching their heads over: Why, after one baby with Scott and another potentially on the way, is marriage off the table? Or to put it more bluntly: What is Kourtney waiting for?
If we had to venture a guess, we'd say she was waiting for Scott to shape up. Not only does he have a history of excessive drinking and scary meltdowns, but he also has a history of being -- what's a polite way to put this? -- a jerkface. Still, Kourtney seems committed to him, in a no-paperwork kind of way. And Kris, who was once set against Scott becoming part of the family, says he's turned a corner of late.
"When Mason was born, Scott was more of a hot mess, but now he's really turned his life around and been amazing," the Kardashian sisters' mother explains. "He's such a great partner to Kourtney. I don't know what Kourtney's reservations are, why she's holding back and being so stubborn."
Hmm, stubborn and strong-willed? Wonder where the Kardashian sisters get that from?
