Ever since video of her smoking Salvia made it onto the internet, Miley Cyrus has become the new celebrity bong babe.

According to FOX Pop Tarts, the ?Party in the USA? party girl is responsible for a dramatic increase in sales of the hallucinogenic herb.

Simultaneously, State governments are looking into banning the drug, known to create highs similar to that of marijuana and LSD.

A smoke shop employee explained, "Salvia is one of those things that you only try once because it is so intense."

Former California State Assemblyman Anthony Adams told press, "It's time for state and federal governments to renew their push toward an outright ban."
