Whitney Houston Sings At The Funeral Of Bobby Brown's Mom (Video) + Fabolous Sued For Assaulting Restaurant Worker

On Monday, Whitney Houston sang at her former mother-in-law’s funeral in Boston, Mass. Carole Brown, the 69-yr-old mother of Bobby Brown, passed away last Thursday in Los Angeles.

Whitney sang twice at the funeral. First she sang “Precious Lord Take My Hand” then she joined the members of New Edition to sing “Never Would Have Made It.” After his mom died, Bobby Brown announced that he would dedicate his life to celebrating the life of his mother.

In a statement released to the media, he said, "It is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancée Alicia, and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby, Jr. and Cassius.”

 

 

 

In other music news...

Fabolous is being sued over allegations he attacked a restaurant worker in Atlanta.  Octavious Butler filed a lawsuit with Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court claiming Faboulous and an unnamed acquaintance struck him with a glass bottle as he cleaned their table at the city’s Fox Sports Grill.  

No word on how much money Octavious is asking for.
