After the epic event that was the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, what do you do for an encore? For stars like Kendra Wilkinson, Lauren Conrad, Emile Hirsch, Danny Masterson, Ron Artest, Elisabetta Canalis, Malin Akerman, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, the answer was clear: Keep the party going at In Touch's 4th annual Icons + Idols party, sponsored by Sprint, UV Vodka and eos, at the legendary Sunset Tower Hotel.
For Kendra, mom to 20-month-old Hank Jr., it was a rare chance to have a fun night out. "I just hired a nanny, but I don't let her do her job!" Kendra confessed to In Touch. "But it's good every now and then to step out and enjoy the night. I grabbed my neighbor and was like, 'Do you want to go out?' and she was like, 'Yeah, of course!' We're just going to have some wine and have a good time."
And have a good time she did: The former Dancing With the Stars contestant hit the dance floor with singer Kat DeLuna. "Kat taught Kendra a new dance, it was cute," says a fellow party-goer. "They were booty-shaking. Kat told Kendra she should get into music!" Elsewhere at the bash, Extra's Maria Menounos enjoyed Magnolia Bakery cupcakes while relating her personal highlights of the VMAs, which included Lady Gaga's gender-bending and Beyonc�'s on-stage revelation of her pregnancy. "The passion and voice in Gaga's performance was insane!" Maria enthused. "And I loved Beyonc�'s announcement. I think that was a brilliant way to make an announcement and not to have to do a million interviews."
In other announcement news, Bachelor Pad couple Kasey Kahl and Vienna Girardi told In Touch they've moved in together ? but don?t have much in the way of furniture yet! So is an engagement next? "That's the No. 1 question," said Vienna, showing In Touch a rock on her middle finger. "This is a promise ring, and when the next step happens, it'll happen." Adds Kasey, "I just wanted an excuse to buy my girlfriend some jewelry. Is there anything wrong with that?" Not in our book!
In other love-related news, Kim Kardashian's recent marriage to Kris Humphries got a surprising endorsement at the party ? from none other than Kim's ex, singer Ray J! "I'm happy for everybody. If you're in love, then I support that," Ray J told In Touch. " Whether you're my ex-girlfriend or ex-enemy, you know, everybody's supposed to be happy. Let's all just show the love, spread the love!" But is the For the Love Of Ray J star looking to settle down himself? "I might find my new wife up in here!" he said. I'm always looking. If it happens, why not let it happen at the In Touch party!"
