Lady Gaga Leaks Vogue Cover on Twitter

Lady Gaga Leaks Vogue Cover on Twitter

Lady Gaga is all about the spoilers this week. The 8 million fans who follow her on Twitter recently got a sneak peak at the pop singer's Vogue cover, plus the announcement that her highly anticipated new single, "Born This Way," would drop a few days early. Both of those announcements are exciting -- but one of them may have gotten her in hot water. Read on for details!

First, there's the cover of Vogue's spring fashion issue, which Gaga revealed in a blurry TwitPic on Saturday. In the photo, the pop star sports a look that we'll describe as "futuristic flapper": a bright pink bob, dark purple lipstick and a pale drop-waist dress with a barely-there halter top. Gaga is possibly the only woman in the world who can make this ensemble look conservative! But she looks fantastic, and she just couldn't resist sharing it with the world.

"They used to call me rabbit teeth in school, and now I'm a real live VOGUE BEAUTY QUEEN!" Gaga twittered.

Only one problem: Gaga wasn't technically supposed to show anybody that photo. E! reports that Vogue reps have been frantically trying to get the picture taken down, since it wasn't supposed to go live until Thursday. Whoops!

Then there's the announcement that no doubt delighted a lot of "little monsters" (the nickname the singer has coined for her fans). Gaga's new single, "Born This Way," was officially scheduled to debut on February 13, the day of the Grammys. But on Monday, Lady Gaga twittered this message: "Can't wait any longer, single coming Friday." The singer has already posted the lyrics to the song, an anthem for anybody who's ever felt like a freak. So for now, you can make up the tune in your head -- and on Friday, we'll find out if the song is as good as Gaga has promised!
